FSA regulation of the Sale and Rent Back market

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) are the regulatory body in charge of overseeing much of the financial services industry in the UK. After extensive consultation with the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), and others, the UK government decided to introduce regulation into the sell and rent back market and give the FSA powers to oversee those companies that are authorised to provide a rent back house service.
